Calla Lilies are moisture lovers and appreciate a lightly shaded position that shelters them from afternoon sun. Removing the blooms after flowering (if you haven’t already cut them!) preserves the lovely foliage throughout the season, however in hot, drier climates, they may die back after flowering in preparation for winter dormancy.
